To My Parents...

Today I want to talk a little bit about the point of my blog. I hope it proves useful in showing each and every one of you a window into my classroom. Due to the fact you all can't be in class every day with your little ones, I will update my Kindergarten Korner several times a week with the days activities, future activities, take home work, the school's future programs and events, and more! Your children will be diving into many different subjects this year. To list a few, basic counting skills will be met in mathematics while the weather is being taught for a taste of science. I hope you can learn a lot about the structure of our classroom here!

Meet The Teacher

Hello parents and students! My name is Ms. Alyssa and I am so happy to be teaching my very first class. I have always had a passion for teaching and can't wait to be in the classroom this year. I am originally from Asheville, North Carolina. I enjoy being outdoors, spending time with my family and friends, and of course putting all I have into the lives of my students! I traveled to Wilmington to attend college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington after I graduated from high school and got a degree in Elementary Education with concentrations in Behavior Studies and Early Childhood Education. I love thinking of new ways to inspire my children in the classroom and out. I look forward to this year and all that will come with it!
